The short version
Field Prep Studios is a one-person consultancy. I collect as little information as possible, I do not sell it, and I do not share it with anyone outside of the service providers that help run this site and my email.
What I collect
- Information you send me. If you email Field Prep Studios, I receive your name, email address, and whatever you choose to write.
- Basic site data. The hosting platform records standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested, in order to serve and secure the site.
- Account data. Site administrators can sign in to edit content. That sign-in stores an email address and authentication record. There is no public account creation.
How I use it
To reply to inquiries, to deliver and administer client work, and to keep the site running securely. I do not use your information for advertising, and I do not sell or rent it.
Client and product information
Most engagement work such as audits, strategy, and design leadership is based on how a product works, not what is inside it, so it rarely touches sensitive or regulated data. When an engagement does require access to that kind of data, I sign the same privacy, confidentiality, and security agreements your other vendors do before I look at anything, and I follow the access and handling rules your organization sets.
Cookies and analytics
This site does not run advertising trackers or third-party marketing pixels. Any cookies present are functional, used to keep an administrator signed in or to serve the site correctly.
Retention and your choices
Correspondence is kept only as long as it is useful for the relationship or required by contract. You can ask me to access, correct, or delete the information I hold about you at any time, and I will do it unless a contract or law requires me to keep it.
